In the summer between the junior and senior year, Illustration majors are required to intern with a suitable employer. The Internship Preparation course is the framework in which the appropriate intern/employer match is identified. Credit hours for the summer internship are applied to the fall and spring semesters of the senior year. The Fall sessions are for student presentations of their internship experience and one-on-one meetings with faculty where the employer host’s evaluation is discussed. Based on the scope of a student’s project or level of study there may be additional costs for materials and supplies. Satisfies: Major Requirement
